- Must have good attendance

- Shows self-control
T.A. duties - Shelve books.
- Read assigned shelves
- Return materials left on tables.
- Push in chairs.
- Check in books.
- Check out books.
- Make sure student signs in on clipboard.
- Clock student out when they leave.
- Look up summons and take them to classrooms
- Perform other duties requested by Librarian.
- Stamp processed books
- Alphabetize catalog cards.
- Process magazines
- Miscellaneous
Library Practice Student Duties:
- Same duties as a T.A.
- Do written work out of the workbook.
- Eight assignments completed before the ten-week progress report.
- Eight assignments completed before the twenty-week progress report.
A final will be given at the end of the semester.
Library Internet Use Policy
- Student must have form signed by parent or guardian.
- An Internet Use Card will be issued after form has been completely filled out.
- Application will be kept on file. Internet Use Card must be renewed annually.
- There is no e-mail.
- There is no chatting.
- No log-in of any kind.
- Use of the internet is for research purposes only.
- No games or decoding of games.
Violation of Policy Violation of Policy - Card will be taken away for a month. Second violation: Parent will be notified of violation Internet use privilege suspended indefinitely.
Library Rules Etiquette
Silence is Golden! - Must have a signed pass by your teacher to enter the library.
- Sign in on the clipboard
- No food or drinks in the library.
- Be considerate of others.
- No loud talking.
- No socializing
- No running around
- No in and out privileges
- Please return materials to their proper places.
- Clean up area around you before leaving the library.
Circulation - You must have an ID Card to check out books
- Print your full name and homeroom on the book pocket card.
- You may check out:
- two books
- one magazine
- Books circulate for two weeks.
- Magazines circulate for one week.
- You may not check out a book if your name is on the Overdue List.
Overdue Books - A fine of 10¢ per day. No charge for illness days, weekends, or holidays.
- Lost books - See Librarian for cost of lost item(s).
- Take care of overdue books as soon as possible.
- You parent(s) will be notified at home and work if needed.
- Your name will be submitted and put on the Stop Clearance List.
- Library Privileges will be suspended indefinitely until record is cleared.
Library Computers Computers are to be used for the purpose of research only.

Shared T1 Line & schoolwide file and print sharing.
Computers may be used for word processing. - You may not save on the hard drive.
- You may save on your disk. It will be scanned for viruses.
- You may bring and use your own flash drive.
It costs 10¢ per page to print after prior approval by Librarian.
